About the Course
In an increasingly fast-changing world, the ability to understand trends, anticipate change, and prepare for what's ahead has become a vital skill — both professionally and personally. Futures Thinking offers new ways of thinking and practical methods for exploring the trajectories we are on, identifying emerging challenges and opportunities, and developing strategies for effective action in the near and distant future.

Artis Birziņš
An "EdTech" entrepreneur and lecturer specializing in futures thinking and change management. He holds an MBA in International Management from Waseda University in Japan. Artis has lived and worked in Japan for over 20 years in the global technology and innovation space, holding leadership positions at companies such as "Microsoft" and "IBM". He currently teaches Futures Thinking at Nagaoka University of Technology in Japan and at Riga stradiņš University in Latvia. He is also a recipient of the "Imagination Leadership Award" from the Institute for the Future.
